"Beth thank you for all the work you've done with us! We love getting to work with you and look forward to your visits! Who knows where we'd be without you."
Ziggy & Pongo
"My dog Parker, who is a young active Labrador Retriever, has done obedience, agility, and field trials, truly loves his time with Beth and K9 Nose Work®. He has a great work ethic and is always in the game when it comes to nose work.
Beth is very knowledgeable of this sport in which she prepares her students well for. Parker grew to love the game very quickly. This summer at his first C-Wags Scent Trial he took home 4 Q’s.
Beth is not only professional, but makes classes fun as well. Her passion for animals and teachings truly shines in all she does. I would highly recommend this sport to anyone looking to get their dog involved in a low impact, independent sport. K9 Nose Work® is a sport that is something any dog can do regardless of their handicap. I say that, because I have seen it first hand in my dogs’ class we have a deaf as well as blind dog, who loves the game as much as my dog Parker does.
Thank you Beth Mann for introducing us to K9 Nose Work®."

Tucker & Linda
"My 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Tucker, and I took our first ever class from Beth to learn what was involved in being a therapy dog. Tucker is a very social and smart little dog but when Beth first asked what he knew, I was at a loss to come up with anything. While my husband and I have owned dogs for 25 years, we’ve never had to do anything out of the ordinary to get them to be great canine citizens and exceptional companions.
So while Tucker had a lot of “catch up” to do regarding even the simplest commands, such as, sit, down and stay, with Beth’s guidance he soon became a star consistently performing every skill taught.
Beth uses gentle and positive training techniques that made our dog want to perform the task at hand. She seemed like a dog-whisperer as her quiet manner and use of praise and treats were all that was needed to teach a new skill.
I am happy to say that when Tucker went into an assisted living facility for his Pet Partner evaluation, he passed with flying colors and qualified for service at the most complex level. More importantly, he truly appeared to enjoy interacting with the residents and we both left looking forward to other ways he might be of service.
Tucker now looks forward to weekly sessions at a community youth center where he sits and listens to students read and then lavishes them with kisses and the ever-wagging tail. He also goes to John Carroll University with other therapy dogs to visit with students and staff alike to help them de-stress. Soon he will begin visiting patients enrolled in hospice to bring them comfort and joy.
I highly recommend Beth as a trainer and hope you enjoy the Pet Therapy work as much as Tucker and I do."
Huck, Nan & Rick
"As a puppy, Beth taught me how to sit, down, stay, come, and walk on a leash. I did well enough to pass my AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation and to begin puppy agility classes at 7 months old!"
"We hired Beth one day after we rescued Huck from a no-kill shelter. He was hovered in the back of a kennel with a sign on the door that said “$20 if you take him home today.” Of course we did: he was beautiful and sweet. The problem was that he was frightened of all sounds, people, and sudden movement: he would not move away from the tree in the backyard.
Beth began working with all three of us to help Huck overcome his fears and lead a fun life. She was amazing and helped Huck become the dog/family member he was meant to be. After about one month he was showing his affection for dogs, cats, children, people and even music. In less than a year, Beth and I brought Huck to nursing homes and I brought him to my classroom.
We do not have enough gratitude in ourselves to ever thank Beth for her expertise, hard work and most importantly for the love she showed our animal that gave him the opportunity to enjoy life with us. She is more than a trainer: she was Huck’s savior."
"Beth has been providing pet therapy at Golden Living for almost 3 years now. We really appreciate her caring services as she shares her dogs, Penny, Izzy and Vanilla, each week with our memory care residents, and presents a special dog program twice a year. Her pet visits mean so much to all of us, bringing smiles and brightening the day for residents, staff and guests alike!
Thanks, Beth, for making a difference in our lives!"
